Response Services

Emergency services may be accessed by dialing 9-1-1. The Department is very proud of a response time which averages three minutes from  receipt of call to on site. All personnel have extensive training in every aspect of firefighting operations and are certified as Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT's). For information regarding the Department's privacy practices, please see the link below.

Personnel are trained in HazMat Response to the Operations Level. In addition, many have received training for specialized operations.

The Fire Department responds to emergency/non-emergency requests including water rescue, vehicle rescue, investigation of safety concerns such as gas odors or carbon monoxide alarms, and weather-related situations.
