Warren Downtown Facade Improvement Grant Program

The City of Warren Redevelopment Authority encourages and supports investment in existing buildings in the Historic Downtown District. The Authority developed a Downtown Façade Improvement Grant Program to: 

1.     Directly support restoration and preservation of the historic integrity of downtown buildings; and
2.     Retain and attract businesses to strengthen the economic potential of Warren’s Downtown. 

Through the Grant Program, the Authority may provide up to a 50% reimbursement grant to City of Warren business or building owners who make eligible improvements to their building’s façade. The Authority will match an owner’s investment in eligible façade improvements on a “dollar-for-dollar” basis up to a maximum reimbursement of $5000.

Interested business/property owners may send an e-mail to admin@cityofwarrenpa.gov for program information. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis as funding permits.
