Damien Sharp - Homicide/Missing Person
The City of Warren Police Department and the family of Damien Sharp are asking for the public’s help. The investigation into the disappearance of Warren resident Damien Sharp continues to plague the City as one of its only unsolved cases after eight years. The City of Warren Police Department receives tips concerning this case on a regular basis, however, none that have led to a successful conclusion as to the whereabouts of Mr. Sharp.
The case began with a report of a missing person on June 6, 2002. During the investigation, suspicious circumstances arose and the case became a Homicide/Missing Person investigation. Since 2007, the City Police have received assistance from both civilian and law enforcement agencies. The Department will continue to solicit the assistance of those who can help bring this case to a close.
Born 8/6/1979, Sharp was 22 at the time of his disappearance. He was carrying a black backpack and possibly using aluminum crutches when he was last seen in the City of Warren on May 25, 2002. He was wearing a dark shirt and dark shorts. He is described as a white male with blonde hair, hazel eyes, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 170 pounds, and has an Egyptian symbol (Ankh) tattooed on his chest.
The Police Department asks that anyone having any information regarding this investigation come forward. The smallest detail could be the lead that helps bring this investigation to a close. Warren County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to the location of Mr. Sharp.
