David G. Wortman, Mayor
Mr. Wortman took the Oath of Office as Mayor of the City of Warren on January 3, 2022.
He has always considered himself to be a resident of Warren; however, his service in the United States Army led him to many other locales including Fort Bragg, NC; Fort Campbell, KY; Hope Mills, NC; and Clarksville, TN. Mr. Wortman proudly served for over 30 years and held the rank of Colonel at the time of his retirement from the Army. He is currently employed as a senior executive in the oil and gas industry.
Education: University of Pittsburgh, Bachelor of Science in Chemistry; Pennsylvania State University, Master of Business Administration
Community Activities: Serves on the Board of Directors for the Warren Sports Boosters and the Allegheny Valley Veterans' Center and is a member of the Warren County YMCA Board of Trustees. In addition, he is a middle school Religious Education Teacher for Holy Redeemer and St. Joseph Parishes.
Mayor Wortman enjoys the outdoors, particularly hunting, skiing, mountain biking, baseball, and boating. He and his wife, Jennifer, are the proud parents of five adult children who they enjoy spending time with.
Mayor Wortman's term will expire on December 31, 2025.
