Maurice J. "Maury" Cashman, Council Member

In October, 2005, Mr. Cashman was appointed to serve the remainder of a vacant Council seat. He began his first elected term in January, 2006, and, after serving two terms as a Council member, was elected to serve as Mayor from 2014 to 2021; in November, 2021, he was elected to serve the remaining two years of a vacated Council seat. In November, 2023, he was elected to serve the remaining two years of a vacated Council seat.  

Education: University of Pittsburgh, Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; Pennsylvania State University, Master's of Business Administration in Finance; Rutgers University, Stonier Graduate School of Banking

Community Activities: Member of the Warren Lions Club, Board Member of Journey Health System (Chairman of the Finance Committee and a member of its Development and Audit Committee), Chairman of Beacon Light Behavioral Health System

Mr. Cashman's term on Council will expire on December 31, 2025.
