Special Event Permits
Organizations and groups that want to hold a special event in the City are required to submit an application to the Special Events Committee at least 90 days in advance of the event. For neighborhood block parties, applications must be submitted 30 days prior to the date of the block party. The Committee will review the event for safety and impact on community facilities and will work with you to make your event a safe and memorable one.
You are encouraged to submit an application early as the calendar fills up fast! You may submit a Special Event Application up to two years in advance to secure your date and ensure you have one less thing to worry about.
