Community Beautification Award

Do You Know of A Property With Lots of Curb Appeal?

The Street Landscape Committee wants to hear about it! If you, or a neighbor, have an eye-catching front yard, you are invited to submit an application/nomination for the Community Beautification Award.

The Committee wishes to recognize City of Warren residents and businesses that put forth the effort to establish and maintain an attractive front lawn. Applications/nominations will be accepted year round with recognition certificates being presented twice per year to a residential and a commercial property. The deadline for the summer award is July 15 and September 15 for the fall award.

Following review of the applications/nominations, the Committee will visit each of the properties and will take particular note of general landscaping, layout, planning, proportion, balance, color, and eco-friendliness.  Committee Chairperson Josie Gerardi notes, “This doesn’t mean we’re looking for something that’s professionally landscaped, rather people taking care of their property.”
