City of Warren: Permit Required

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has adopted the Uniform Construction Code (UCC) to provide standards for construction in the state.  Permits can be obtained through the City's Code Enforcement Department, which also provides inspection services.

The City's Department of Public Works (DPW) oversees the issuance of all sewer permits in the City.  Contact DPW for more information about the application process.

The City's Engineer, through the Department of Public Works (DPW), oversees the excavation and construction plans for compliance to the City's Stormwater Ordinance.  Contact DPW for more information about the stormwater management process.

The Department of Zoning, Codes, and Economic Development Department  issues zoning permits in accordance with the City's Zoning Ordinance and Sign Ordinance.
