Streets & Bridges
The Department of Public Works (DPW) maintains 36.69 miles of City-owned streets, and performs some services as well for the 8.92 miles of state-owned streets and bridges in the community. The Department also has a great resource in the Street Landscape Committee which helps to keep our City's tree-lined streets in good order, oversees the Community Tree Fund and presents the Community Beautification Award.
