Junior Council Member

The Junior Council Member serves as an advisory member of Warren City Council. This position provides an opportunity for the voice of our youth to be heard and City Council greatly values the insight offered by the young men and women who have served in this capacity. Service as a Junior Council Member allows the student an opportunity to see the workings of local government firsthand and promotes the development of leadership skills. One student is selected to serve during the school year.

Warren City Council invites City of Warren residents who will be a high school junior or senior during the 2024-2025 school year to apply to  serve as a Junior Council Member from September 2024 through May 2025. Council meetings are held the third Monday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building. Interested students may submit an application to City of Warren, 318 West Third Avenue, Warren, PA 16365 or admin@cityofwarrenpa.gov. Applications for the 2024-2025 school year should be submitted by July 1, 2024.
