Parks and Recreation Plan

The City of Warren engaged Mackin Engineers & Consultants to develop a Parks and Recreation Plan which will serve as a guide in providing for the sound use of the City's parklands and to further develop and promote recreational opportunities within the community.  This project is funded by a grant under the administration of the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bureau of Recreation and Conservation.  

The City of Warren Parks and Recreation Commission met on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at which time it received public comment regarding the Draft of the City of Warren Parks and Recreation Plan. The Commission subsequently voted to recommend City Council's approval of the Plan. Meeting in regular session on June 21, 2021, Warren City Council voted unanimously to adopt the Plan as the official City of Warren Parks and Recreation Plan.
